1 used for saying that it is necessary that sth happens (表示必须): I must remember to go to the bank today. 我今天一定要记得去银行。You mustn't take photographs in here. It's forbidden. 你不可在这里拍照,这里禁止摄影。
2 used for saying that you feel sure that sth is true (表示肯定): Have something to eat. You must be hungry. 吃点东西吧,你一定饿了。I can't find my cheque book. I must have left it at home. 我找不到我的支票簿,必定是留在家里了。
