1 bound to do sth certain to do sth 必然: You've done so much work that you're bound to pass the exam. 你这么努力,考试准会及格。
2 having a legal or moral duty to do sth 受法律或道德约束;有义务: The company is bound by UK employment law. 公司须受英国雇佣法约束。She felt bound to refuse the offer. 她觉得有义务拒绝这项提议。
3 bound (for...) travelling to a particular place 往(某处): a ship bound for Australia 开往澳大利亚的船只
