| 内容 | 应对 When people make decisions of buying something, many of them make their decisions based on what they see in advertisements. Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages? 这个题目。 学生写了下面这个句子： You may find a better solution to an aged problem by watching advertisements. *个问题，应该是很明显大家发现的：an aged problem?我明白意图，“老”问题又不想用old，但是用aged还不如用old了。。。 * 第二个问题：直呼读者“You”，不妥。 * 第三个问题：除非前后的句子搭建了语境(于是，比较关系中需要的两个主体明确了)，不然，我们要避免中文口语习惯里的滥用比较级。不然，我们的读者其实并不知道究竟怎么得出的better，比什么better呢? 看下面 教师修改后的句子： A viewer of advertisements may be inspired and come up with good ideas to solve a problem that has long been bothering. *好像很难解释究竟好在哪里，但是读起来就顺畅许多，意思也明确。 * 尤其需要讲的是，回应原句中的an aged problem，其实是 a problem that has long been bothering。注意，long在此处是副词，放在have和done/been之间。 * 避免了by doing something这个僵硬的表达方式，而是用“广告观众”作主语。 小总结： * 定语从句可以解决大家找不到合适的形容词的困扰。 * 主语的选择其实是句子构造的重要技巧(之一)。 |
