长久以来具有中国特色，表达的“中式英语”(Chinglish)，一直备受诟病和嘲笑，先随意感受一下：

　　(丈夫和妻子的肺片)

　　(四个高兴的肉球)

　　1.烤串

　　Kebab就是烤串意思。这个词来自阿拉伯语，现已广泛用于指我们常说的“烤串”了。举一些常见烤串英文表达给大家：

　　烤羊肉串 Shish kebab

　　烤牛肉串 Grilled beef kebabs

　　烤鸡肉串 Roast chicken kebabs

　　烤鸡翅 Roast chicken wings

　　烤鸡排 Roast chicken row

　　2. 烧烤

　　Roasted 、Broiled、 Grilled在烧烤英语中的不同用法

　　Roasted通常指用烤炉慢慢烤，不是明火直接烤，肉块儿偏大。Grilled一般指明火烤，烤的速度最快，肉块儿较小。而

　　broiled则是广义的烧、烤，其意义涵盖了roast和grilled。

　　烤牛排 Broiled steak

　　烤玉米 Roasted corn

　　烤茄子 Roasted eggplant

　　烤土豆 Baked potatoes

　　烤尖椒 Roast pepper

　　3. 常用对话

　　Would you like to have a barbecue with Mr. Li?

　　你想跟Mr.Li一起烧烤吗?

　　I had great kebabs at the street stalls with my friends tonight.

　　我今晚和朋友们一起去路边摊吃了很棒的烤串。

　　A：How long does it take to cook meat on the barbecue?

　　A：烤肉要烤多长时间?

　　B：It only takes a few minutes.Some people like their meat well done,others like it rare.The great thing about the barbecue is that everyone can choose how they want their meat cooked.

　　B：几分钟就好了。有些人喜欢肉老点儿，有的喜欢嫩点儿。做烤肉的好处就是能满足每个人的口味。

　　A：They can cook them themselves to make sure exactly how they like it.

　　A：他们可以自己做，来掌握自己的口味。

　　B：I hope you haven’t invited any vegetarns.

　　B：但愿你没请吃素食的人。
