    1.at
    a. 表示“向，朝”
    Don't laugh at others.不要嘲笑别人。
    Please look at the blackboard.请看黑板。
    b. 表示“处于……状态”
    at breakfast 在吃早餐
    at school在学校上
    She is at work in the garden.她正在花园里干活。
    c. 表示“在……方面”
    He is good at English.他擅长英语。
    They are busy at their homework.他们忙着做功课。
    2.by
    a. 用于被动语态，表示“被，由”
    This book was written by Bill Gates这本书是由比尔盖茨写的。
    b. 表示“用，靠，凭借”
    May I pay by cheque?我可以用支票付款么?
    c. 表示乘用交通工具
    travel by air /plane/bus/car/boat乘飞机/飞机/公共汽车/小汽车/船旅行

    a. 表示方向，意思是“往，向”
    We are leaving for Beijing next week.我们下周前往北京。
    b. 表示对象，用途等，意思是“为，给”
    Here is a ticket for you.这里有张票给你。
    It's time for our lunch.到咱们吃午饭的时候了。
    c. 表示时间、距离、数量等，意思是“计，达”
    We haven't seen each other for a long time.我们很长时间没有彼此见面了。
    They walked for five miles.他们走了5英里。
    d. 表示目的，意思是“为了”
    Let's go for a walk.咱们出去散步吧。
    What can I do for you?(购物时)请问您要买什么?
    e. 表示原因，意思是“因为，由于”
    Thank you for your help.谢谢你的帮助。

    f. 以for构成的短语

    a. 表示离开、脱离，意思是“距，离”
