*Must have passing sub scores in both Reading and Writing for concurrent enrollment. IEP stands for Intensive English Program. Please note that these requirements are subject to change. IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. It measures ability to communicate in English across all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – for people who intend to study or work where English is the language of communication. IELTS Course ID (codes): Undergraduate Admission – 4861 Graduate Admission – 4862 For more information, visit http://bandscore.ielts.org/course_info.aspx?OrgId=3187. Students enrolled in the IEP can fulfill their English requirement by successfully completing Level 5 of the IEP or by passing the TOEFL test (ITP) offered at the University of Miami. Once your English condition has been met, you will be able to enroll in fulltime academic study to pursue your major. For more information about the Intensive English Program please visit their web site: www.miami.edu/iep Prior to enrolling at the Intensive English Program, you may submit official TOEFL/IELTS results. If you wish to have these results reviewed for consideration, official test scores must be received in the Office of Undergraduate Admission before January 1, 2017. Test results received after this date will not be accepted and no changes will be made to your conditional admission.
