At present the master's degree is conferred on those who have completed school work successfully in 52 specialized fields : 20 in engineering, 18 in liberal arts and sciences, and 14 in fine arts & design. The doctoral degree is offered in 37 areas of study : 17 in engineering and mathematics, 16 in liberal arts, and 4 in fine arts & design. The university also encompasses 10 specialized graduate schools that offer masters degrees in selected areas and 1 professional design graduate school. The programs are designed to provide students with advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in their major studies.
