1 [I] point (at/to sb/sth) to show where sth is or to draw attention to sth using your finger, a stick, etc (用手指、木棒等)指,指出: ‘I'll have that one,’ she said, pointing to a chocolate cake. “我想要那个。”她指着一块巧克力蛋糕说。
2 [I,T] point (sth) (at/towards sb/sth) to aim (sth) in the direction of sb/sth 指向;对准;瞄准: She pointed the gun at the target and fired. 她把枪瞄准目标,然后开火。
