/peɪ ||; pe/noun [U] money that you get regularly for work that you have done 工资;薪金 Pay is the general word for money that you get regularly for work that you have done. Wages are paid weekly or daily in cash. A salary is paid monthly, directly into a bank account. You pay a fee for professional services, for example to a doctor, lawyer, etc. Payment is money for work that you do once or not regularly. Your income is all the money you get regularly, both for work you have done, and as interest on money you have saved. pay泛指工资。wage指每日或每周以现金支付的工资。salary按月支付,直接转入银行账户。fee指专业服务的费用,如付给医生、律师等。payment为一次性或不定期工作所得的报酬。income指全部固定收入,包括工资和存款利息。
