1 used for asking for information or advice (用于询问数据或意见): What time shall I come? 我该什么时候来呢?Where shall we go for our holiday? 我们到哪里去度假呢?
2 used for offering to do sth (用于提供帮助): Shall I help you carry that box? 我来替你搬那个箱子好吗?Shall we drive you home? 我们开车送你回家好吗?

4 (formal 正式) used with ‘I’ and ‘we’ in future tenses, instead of ‘will’ (在将来时中,I和we与shall连用而不和will连用): I shall be very happy to see him again. 如果能再见到他我会很高兴。We shan't be arriving until ten o'clock. 我们十点之前到不了。At the end of this year, I shall have been working here for five years. 到了年底,我就在这里工作五年了。
5 (formal 正式) used for saying that sth must happen or will definitely happen (用于表示某事必须或必定发生): In the rules it says that a player shall be sent off for using bad language. 根据比赛规则,运动员说粗话必须下场。
