1 [I,T] to move or make sth move round a fixed central point (使)旋转,转动: The wheels turned faster and faster. 车轮越转越快。She turned the key in the lock. 她转动钥匙开锁。Turn the steering wheel to the right. 将方向盘向右转动。
2 [I,T] to move your body, or part of your body, so that you are facing in a different direction 转身: He turned round when he heard my voice. 他听到我的声音就转过身来。She turned her back onme(= she deliberately moved her body to face away from me). 她故意转过身去背对着我。
