1 [I] bump against/into sb/sth to hit sb/sth by accident when you are moving 跟某人或某物撞个正着: She bumped into a lamp post because she wasn't looking where she was going. 她走路的时候心不在焉,结果撞到灯柱上。
2 [T] bump sth (against/on sth) to hit sth against or on sth by accident (偶然)使某物撞在另一物上: I bumped my knee on the edge of the table. 我的膝盖撞到桌子边上。

3 a part of a surface that is higher than the rest of it 隆起处: There are a lot of bumps in the road, so drive carefully. 这条路崎岖不平,要小心点开车。
