【ALEVEL第1年】
研究方法部分最主要的变化是去掉了Natural Experiment,增加了Longitudinal Studies,学习难度没有太大变化。
In the research methodology section we have reviewed the content for clarity. The main changes are:
removal of natural experiments
addition of longitudinal studies
revision of the ethics in animal studies to reflect the new core studies
reorganisation of data analysis.

Issues and Debates出现了新知识点idiographic VS nomothetic。改版后Abnormal Psychology换名为Clinical Psychology,其他没有变化。
新考纲对每个Option需要掌握的Key Studies做出明确划分,要求也更清晰,这个改动对学生的学习是有帮助的,学生能更清楚地知道哪些Studies需要了解细节,哪些不需要,目标也更加明确了。
For each of the key studiescandidates should show knowledge and understanding of
the context of the study and relationship to other studies the main theories/explanationsincluded in the study. the aim(s)andhypotheses of the study [if stated
the design of the study,including all methodology as appropriatsuch as the research method(s) used
sample size and demographics [if known]and sampling technique [if known]procedure,technique for data collection
. the resultsfindings and conclusions of the study the main discussion points of the study
For each key study candidates should be able to:
describe and evaluate research methods used in and methodological concepts included in the study (for AS and A Level)
describe and evaluate the psychological issues and debates(for AS and ALevel)included in the study
